A missing student in the Dominican Republic, Sudiksha Konanki, was last seen in new surveillance footage leaving a hotel lobby before she disappeared during her spring break trip. The 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student vanished on March 6 after heading to the beach in Punta Cana.

What the Video Shows

The footage, captured at 4:15 a.m., shows Sudiksha leaving RIU Hotels and Resorts with three people—an unidentified man and two women. Authorities say she later entered the beach area and never returned to her hotel.

A local police source told CNN that Sudiksha’s friends came back to the hotel by 5:55 a.m., but she stayed behind with the man.Later, at 9:55 a.m., surveillance cameras captured him leaving the beach, but Sudiksha was not there.

Investigation and Search Activities: Using detection dogs, drones, and helicopters, the FBI and the US Embassy have begun a comprehensive search operation. However, we haven’t seen Sudiksha.
